Ron Lusk
About
Ron Lusk has over 40 years of diverse business and management expertise. In the late 1980’s, he entered the healthcare industry by purchasing healthcare facilities. After selling the company in 1997, he continued to invest in healthcare companies, including hospice. In 2014, a founding partner purchased his interest and is now the largest hospice in Oklahoma.
From 1998 to 2007, Ron served as Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Lighting Science Group, which designs, develops, manufactures and markets general illumination LED products. In 2007, he merged Lighting Science into a private equity firm in New York – today, it is one of the largest LEDS manufactures in the world.
In 2009, Ron formed Lumetech Group, a consulting firm and commercial distributor of energy efficient LED indoor and outdoor lighting solutions and building controls.
Since 2014, Ron has been a director of Cleantech Open, a non-profit organization that runs the world’s largest business competition for cleantech entrepreneurs.
Ron is also a director or advisory director to several companies and private equity firms across a wide array of sectors. He is very active in the energy and fintech space and is a co-founder of Public Water Solutions.
Ron is a native Texan and lives in Dallas with his wife and daughter. He supports and appreciates our US military by championing numerous wounded veteran’s organizations.
